Jonatan Cantero

I absolutely love, love, love these amazing illustration from Jonathan Cantero. It reminds me of miyazaki's spirited away in a quirky alien-ish way. I like how imaginative he is as an artist to totally erase the logic in his thoughts and paints a world of his own. See how he never explain why some sombrero wearing mechanic doctors are controlling a giant chili or why there's a pet shop of dinosaurs. Its all part and parcel of the charm he has on his illustrations. What can i say, i'm a fan.

This are just some work he did for
an advertising agency Sra. Rushmore for CEPSA 2011 Calendar. Illustrated by Jonathan Cantero, and coloured by Toni Infante.

L'officiel Lithuania

The first issue of L'officiel Lithuania features a cover shot by Tomas Kauneckas with models Dalia and Indre. The accompanying editorial is styled by Ona Blu. Its refreshing to see the return of such details in editorials after the whole photoshop craze. Bliss.

Vicky B for Elle

Victoria Beckham for the October issue of Elle. I've always been a big fan of Victoria's editorials. She's amazingly good when it comes to giving that retarded, carrot-up-the-ass look in her styling. You just got to love her!

Shame

I've always find robbie williams to lurve a good laugh in his videos. 'Shame' here is no exception. But to have gary barlow getting all misty eye and lukewarm in that video is way hilarious. Embedded off from perez, here's a first glimpse for you perv out there! :D

Shanghai Dreamers

Its great to see that House of Dior has once again collaborate with Tianjin born artist Quentin Shih in a series of image for Dior’s new flagship store in Shanghai, after their last team up back in 2008. The series unveiled as ‘Shanghai Dreamers’ pictures a western model in full Dior’s glory, painted among a mass crowd of Chinese clones in a surreal, almost morbid lollipop-style photography. The visuals have since attract an unhealthy string of controversial surrounding the racism of Quentin’s idea itself, but it’s undoubtedly a feast for the eye and a kick at the groin for many aspiring artist his caliber.

Patience

I consider myself as someone who has great patience. Who rarely scream at check out counters when the service are slow, or give evil eyes to the waitress for taking the wrong order or tearing my hair apart at the toll booth after a super long queue. But this dude at connecticut defies it all. Dalton Ghetti has the most boring hobby in the universe. Working as a carpenter by profession, he hand-craves pencils lead into teeny tiny sculptures, just for the fun of it. And he does it all without the help of a magnifying glass!! PURE WACKO!

Amazing right!

Amazeball

Recovering sunday doesn't gets any better than being transfix into the visual wonders of Quayola, where art and space collide and mutate into transitory objects, allowing the real and the artificial to coexist. Yes, i copied those exact words from his website, but nonetheless, i am amaze.

The Strata project consist in a series of films, prints and installations investigating improbable relationships between contemporary digital aesthetics and icons of classical art and architecture. Like in geological processes, layers belonging to different ages interact with one another producing new intriguing formations.

The terms Strata defines a geological formation made of multiple layers of rocks. Each one of these layers has its own individual characteristics and history, which combined produce beautiful and unique formations...
