You know how every boy child is always gaga/smitten/obsess over the aspect of building the next metropolitan with legos when they were young. Well, every other boy child that is, for i was a tragic case of becoming my sister's unwilling slave and would end up every evening religiously doing laundry for her dolls. Yes, i was her maid at a tender age of four. Now that's what i call leadership, mister prime minister :PAnyhoo, the time i spend away from my legos were wasted on mix-matching micro minis and lacy shinny leggings for her dolls, and to think about it now, it wasn't that bad of an experience actually. Playing dress-up can be fun, just asks Tevi Gevinson of the Style Rookie fame. She's the current fashion wunderkind (at least to me) that has an amazing sense of style and a flair to mash up her findings from thrift shops to hand-me-downs into something betsey johnson would approve. Not many of us can boost about posting an entrée from the front row of new york fashion week, rubbing shoulder pads with marc and yohji, or becoming a muse to rodarte's kate and laura mulleavy. All that done even before her fourteen birthday! How can i not be obsess and a tad bit jealous?
